The Beginning

Alright, so here it goes.

I was never one for blogging, but figured it may just be exactly what I need to stay motivated and on track. On track for what? Well, I have decided that it is officially time to kick this excess weight that I have been carrying around for about 8 years. I have done a bunch of different things but found I can't stay focused, even on the end result. Life gets in the way. Busy schedules and to be honest lack of motivation after a long day of work.

Why today?
It is just time. I turn 25 today, and want to celebrate 26 in one year's time with a healthy BMI, a smaller waist line, and hell, lets say a marathon that year.

How?
We all know about those infomercials with different types of exercises and etc. What I am proposing is to take each on as a challenge, report back to you, and maybe inform people.

When?
Each workout is differing lengths, but we will start today!

This is going to be a lot of work, and for those of you who read, I hope that we can decipher through the good and the bad in regards to these "workout programs".

To start...

For the first trial, we are going to use EA Active, for the Wii. I purchased this game a couple weeks ago, and so far, playing with it, its quite fun, and my co workers and friends have enjoyed poking fun at how sore my legs were getting.

Starting today we will follow the 30 day program. It offers 2 rest days a week, and can change as your schedule does. Lets try to stick to theirs!

I will give you photos, stats and the crazy stuff that no one really wants to divulge. I promise to be in this 100%, so stay tuned, and here we go!!
